Gutsy play calling on fourth down helped secure a Bedlam victory for the Cowboys.
Oklahoma State took the victory, 27-24.
With a minute left in the first quarter, the Cowboys were faced with a fourth-and-3 in Sooner territory. The Cowboys opted to go for it. OSU quarterback Alan Bowman completed a pass to OSU receiver Brennan Presley for 12 yards. Two plays later, OSU running back Ollie Gordon II took the ball into the end zone, giving the Cowboys a 14-7 lead.
The Cowboys only went 1-for-4 on fourth downs, but the decision to go for it paid off.
