Defensive show
Defense. There wasn’t much more than that in the first half. The OSU defense scored the first points of the game after Ogbah recovered a fumble in the end zone to give the Cowboys an early 7-0 lead. The touchdown was just one of three turnovers OSU forced in the first half. The Mountaineer defense was also responsible for WVU’s only points of the half. Kyle Rose sacked Mason Rudolph in the end zone to give the Mountaineers two points thanks to a safety in the second quarter.

Whitener has big shoes to fill at middle linebacker in his first start with OSU.
