Halftime update: Cowboys lead in low-scoring game

FORT WORTH, Tex. — Barry J. Sanders is why TCU has scored.

It’s 10-6 at halftime at Amon G. Carter Stadium, but only because after the Oklahoma State defense forced the Horned Frogs to punt, Adam Nunez punted to Sanders who muffed. TCU recovered at the Cowboy 6, and KaVontae Turpin scored on a reverse two plays later. Besides the fumble, the Cowboys beat the Horned Frogs soundly in the first half.

OSU has 57 more yards, five more first downs and three more third-down conversions.

The Cowboys don’t have a turnover. They have forced one in every game except last week against Texas Tech.
