It was the fourth-longest run in Oklahoma State football history.
Junior running back Justice Hill bolted up the field, leaving all but one Missouri State defender in his rearview.
Hill scampered 93 yards before Missouri State’s Jordan Wilkes tripped him up at the Bear’s 2-yard line.
OSU fans gave Hill a standing ovation as he jogged off the field. After the end of the first quarter, senior quarterback Taylor Cornelius hit cowboy back Sione Finefeuiaki on a 2-yard out route to put OSU up 24-0.
Hill showed glimpses of the breakaway speed he had on display last season, but he turned the burners on when the Cowboys’ backs were up against their own end zone.
