Kyle Haas had a week to remember in Chattanooga, and a much needed one for that matter.
From Jan. 1-2, six Oklahoma State wrestlers participated in the annual Southern Scuffle, held at the University of Chattanooga – an event the Cowboys placed first in a year prior. Haas was the lone finalist, as OSU placed 13th out of 21 teams.
It wasn’t a casual second-place finish for Haas by any means. In the Round of 32, Haas logged an 8-0 major decision over Bucknell’s Logan Deacetis. He followed with an upset bid over No. 15 Nick Stemmet, 7-4, the next round.
