Oklahoma State’s men’s golf team used a final round 17-under to propel themselves to a fourth-place finish just five shots behind winner Pepperdine at the Amer Ari invitational.
The Cowboys were carried for most of the tournament by sophomore Aman Gupta who shot a first round 7-under 65 and finished T-3. He followed that up with 4-under 68 in round two. Gupta and junior Austin Eckroat were the only two Cowboys to not card a score of double-bogey or worse in the tournament.
Gupta finished the tournament with a 1-under 71 and in a tie for third with a score of 12-under and one shot behind the winner.
