Gundy signs long-term deal

Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy signed a five-year contract that ups his 2017 salary to $4.2 million from $3.9 million, the university announced Tuesday.

The contract also includes annual automatic rollovers and $125,000 annual escalators.

The deal replaces Gundy's previous contract which would have expired at the end of 2019.

"I'm very pleased with the new contract because it reflects our mutual commitment and long-term vision to take our football program to an even higher level in the years to come," Gundy said in OSU's release. "I appreciate the support and confidence of President (Burns) Hargis and coach (Mike) Holder in me to continue to lead this program for many years to come.
