Mike Gundy made a public apology Tuesday evening after his superstar tailback Chuba Hubbard called him out the day before.
In the video Gundy twice utters the phrase Black Lives Matter. The first time is to condemn the stance employees of One America News Network have on the matter. Gundy’s second use of the phrase was that black lives matter to him. Here is his full statement.
“I had a great meeting with out team today,” Gundy said. “Our players expressed their feelings as individuals and as team members. They helped me see through their eyes how the T-shirt affected their hearts.
