Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy was named to the 2021 class for the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame.
Gundy is a native of Oklahoma, has been the coach at OSU since 2005 and spent most of his coaching and playing career in the state.
Gundy played his high school football at Midwest City where he won the state championship and Oklahoma Player of the Year in 1985. He then went on to play quarterback at OSU where he started all four seasons.
“As a native Oklahoman, I am humbled and honored to be included in this year’s class for the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame,” Gundy said in a statement.
