When Mike Gundy answered a phone call before going to practice, he might’ve had cause to be jealous.
The destination of the two people talking on speaker phone probably sounded like fun.
“They’re driving in the car, you know (Barry) Switzer and Cale (Gundy), they’re going over to talk to some guys and drink beer and have a good time,” Mike said.
For the first time since taking the head coaching job at Oklahoma State in 2005, Mike will not coach against his brother Cale during Bedlam. Cale, a former Sooner quarterback and longtime OU assistant coach, resigned earlier this year after he used “a racially-charged word.
