Grayson Boomer, Highest-Rated Signee in 2019 Recruiting Class, Tore ACL in Camp

The highest-rated signee from Oklahoma State’s 2019 recruiting class is done for the season.

Bill Haisten of the Tulsa World reported Tuesday morning that former four-star recruit Grayson Boomer, a 6-foot-5 tight end from Collinsville, Okla., tore his ACL earlier this month in fall camp. A torn ACL requires at minimum a six-month recovery which will likely end any hope of him playing as a true freshman.

“The summer had gone really well (for Grayson),” Ashley Boomer, Grayson’s mother, told the World. “The coaches and (medical personnel) at OSU will do a great job with him.
