When Blake Jarwin heard about Zac Veatch, he said he was intimidated.
“I was just a little shy,” Jarwin said. “It took me a couple of years to warm up to him, but when he joined our room, he had respect for me, and I had the ultimate respect for him.”
Veatch played tight end at then-5A Broken Arrow High School in Tulsa and was coming to Oklahoma State on a full scholarship as part of the 2012 signing class.
Jarwin played tight end, too, at then-3A Tuttle, and he walked onto the team the same year.
