In the first ranked matchup in Fort Worth, Texas, since 2004, the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team trusted its stellar senior duo.
Loryn Goodwin and Kaylee Jensen led the charge, propelling No. 22 Oklahoma State to a 71-54 win in Schollmaier Arena against No. 24 TCU. The squads entered Wednesday night with identical overall and conference records, but the Cowgirls took advantage.
With the win, OSU (17-6 overall, 8-4 Big 12) moved into third place in the Big 12 while the Horned Frogs (16-7, 7-5) dropped to fourth. OSU used a fourth-quarter scoring run to pull away; the Cowgirls clinched the road victory with a 10-0 spurt, starting at 5:48 left and ending in a 69-52 lead with 2:13.
