Florida’s non-conference basketball schedule is continuing to take shape.
The Gators announced that they will face Oklahoma State in the Orange Bowl Classic on Dec. 19 in Sunrise. The start time and TV info will be set at a later date.
The Cowboys, coached by former Kentucky shooting guard Travis Ford, return two starters from a team that finished 18-14 season and reached the NCAA Tournament as a nine seed last season.
It’s the first meeting between Florida and Oklahoma State since the 2000 Elite Eight, which Florida won 77-65 to reach the first of four Final Fours under former coach Billy Donovan.
