After some shuffling, freshman Kaid Brock became a hero at 133 pounds and pinned defending champion Cody Brewer in his debut at Oklahoma. Brock claimed two dual victories before he suffered a season-ending knee injury at the Southern Scuffle on Jan. 1.
After losing his starting position, Harding was called on to step up. He did.
“You don’t take that lightly,” Harding said. “I did everything I could to get back on the mat, and I’m going to make the best of it.
