Oklahoma State outfielder Garrett McCain has earned first-team All-American honors by ABCA/Rawlings, it was announced on Monday.
McCain becomes the 25th Cowboy in the program’s illustrious history to earn first-team All-America status. The selection by ABCA/Rawlings is the fourth outlet to name him an All-American, joining Baseball America, the Perfect Game/Rawling and D1 Baseball.
As a junior last season for Oklahoma State, McCain lead the Big 12 with a .388 batting average, hits (87) and on-base percentage (.491). He also ranked in the top five in the league in steals (19), total bases (123), runs (53), slugging percentage (.
