Four-star Texas cornerback Austin Jordan, a top-100 talent from the Lone Star State and one of the best players at his position in the country, announced on Monday that he’s cut his list to 10 schools and included OSU among them.
Ohio State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia, Penn State, USC, Texas A&M and Auburn also made the cut.
247Sports ranks Jordan, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound talent, as the 85th best prospect nationally and No. 12 at his position. The 247Sports Composite ranks him 167th and 19th, respectively.
Jordan hails from Denton Ryan, home of the fightin’ Spencer Sanders’, so OSU has a viable path to pitch to him on a chance to become a star in Stillwater.
