Oklahoma State kicked off its spring football game weekend with a bang on Saturday morning by adding a commitment from one of the top prospects in the state in the 2020 class.
Eli Russ, a four-star offensive tackle who comes in at a meaty 6-5, 305-pounds from Ardmore, Okla., made a commitment to the Cowboys. He is the first commitment for OSU in the 2020 class.
247Sports ranks Russ as a four-star, top-160 prospect and the No. 3 prospect in the state.
Russ picked OSU over offers from North Texas and Tulsa — and well before he was slated to blow up on the recruiting trail.
