Forte ready for new challenge as graduate assistant at Saint Louis

Oklahoma State guard Phil Forte was nominated for the 2017 Allstate NABC Good Works Team, a service award.

Familiarity brought Phil Forte comfort.

Forte, Oklahoma State’s all-time leader in 3-pointers, is headed to Saint Louis University to reunite with some familiar faces. Forte will be on the Billikens coaching staff as a graduate assistant with former OSU coach Travis Ford and former OSU player Ford Stuen. Ford is entering his second season as SLU’s coach and Stuen enters his second year on staff as the director of player development.

“I always kinda stayed in contact with coach Ford, even after he left Oklahoma State,” Forte said.
