Former Oklahoma State star left tackle Russell Okung has become the latest professional player to voice his support for college athletes seeking compensation for the use of their name, image and likeness.
Okung wrote about the topic recently in The Players' Tribune, in a piece entitled "NCAA Reform Starts with Us," and CBS Sports national college football writer Dennis Dodd dug further into Okung's story Friday in a broader examination of the topic.
"The summer going into my senior year at Oklahoma State in 2009, I had a hundred dollars in my bank account and many bills to pay," Okung wrote.
