Darrion Daniels surprised many at the end of 2018 when he announced he would graduate and transfer from Oklahoma State after an injury-laden season was cut short in Stillwater only four games in. What’s not surprising is that he’s already taken on a huge role at his new stop.
After transferring to Nebraska for his final year of eligibility, Daniels, in the course of an offseason, has earned the title of team captain. He’ll serve alongside QB Adrian Martinez, Matt Farniok and fellow defensive captain Mohamed Barry.
Daniels signed with OSU in 2015 as a four-star recruit, shocking many by picking the Pokes over Iowa, Texas Tech, OU and others.
