An OSU softball star will finish her college career an hour from Stillwater.
Former Cowgirl pitcher Kelly Maxwell is transferring to OU, it was first reported by Extra Innings Softball and confirmed by The Oklahoman on Thursday morning.
Maxwell spent five seasons in Stillwater, finishing with a 58-20 record, 746 strikeouts and a 1.58 ERA in 494 2/3 Innings. She earned first team All-Big 12 honors from 2021-23 and was Big 12 Co-Pitcher of the Year in 2022.
As her tenure in an OSU uniform comes to an end, Maxwell is easily one of the most accomplished players in program history.
