Former Arizona State and Oklahoma State wrestler Don Frye was inducted into the Pioneer Wing of the UFC Hall of Fame on Sunday during the UFC Fan Expo in Las Vegas.
Frye, 50, went 9-1 during his UFC career and was the first fighter to finish three opponents in less than a minute. "The Predator" also was the first to win five consecutive bouts by finish. He won the UFC 8 tournament in 1996 and the Ultimate Ultimate tournament later that year, beating Tank Abbott in the final. He advanced to the final of the UFC 10 tournament, but suffered his only UFC loss to Mark Coleman.
