The transfer portal link between Stillwater and Norman is apparently a healthy one.
Oklahoma State All-American pitcher Kelly Maxwell is headed to Oklahoma, according to Brentt Eads of Extra Innings Softball and confirmed by The Oklahoman. Maxwell spent five seasons in Stillwater, redshirting in 2019 before going on to strikeout 746 batters for the Cowgirls.
Maxwell might be the biggest name to make the Bedlam switch in the transfer portal era, but she joins a healthy stream of athletes going both ways up and down I-35. Trace Ford making the move from Stillwater to Norman was also a headline story, but it has also happened elsewhere.
