A former Oklahoma State defensive lineman has found a new home.
Samuela Tuihalamaka, a 6-foot-1, 304-pound defensive tackle, announced his commitment to San Diego State. Tuihalamaka had 23 tackles, four tackles for loss and a sack for Oklahoma State in 2022.
Tuihalamaka entered the portal on Wednesday, part of a slew of Cowboys who hopped in the portal the week after the Cowboys’ Guaranteed Rate Bowl loss to Wisconsin. Originally from Riverside, California, the move to San Diego State puts Tuihalamaka significantly closer to home.
Tuihalamaka joined Oklahoma State as a three-star prospect in the 2018 recruiting class over offers from Louisiana, Howard and Idaho State.
