The Oklahoma State Cowboy coaching staff has been hard at work this week wrapping up the 2019 class and reaching out to potential future Cowboys.
The day after Oklahoma State offered JUCO defensive end LaRon Stokes Jr., Gundy made a trip to visit the fast rising prospect.
Joining Oklahoma State in the recruitment of Stokes are Oklahoma, Oregon, Virginia Tech, Houston, Colorado State, and Tulsa, among others.
According to a recent interview with Tim Thomas of the Virginia Tech site “The Tech Lunch Pail,” Oklahoma State joins the Hokies and Ducks in Stokes’ top-3, though that comment came before the offer from the Sooners.
