Oklahoma State defeated NC State 74-68 in the Basketball Hall of Fame Showcase on Wednesday night in Connecticut. The Cowboys advance to 4-1 on the season, but things started rather dicey.
The Wolfpack opened the game on a 7-0 run, and it took OSU nearly six minutes to score its first point and nearly seven minutes to score its first field goal. But, the Pokes’ rabid defense kept them treading water.
NC State held a 19-10 lead with 9:12 to play in the half before OSU ripped off a 6-0 run.
