It was just against Texas Southern, but the Oklahoma State basketball team showed some flashes of its potential Saturday night.
Here are a few thoughts on the Cowboys’ 85-65 victory against the Tigers:
1. OSU looked noticeably more comfortable than it did in the opener against UT Arlington. Players were playing more of their game rather than looking overly passive. That’s promising for a team that has more talent and on-ball creation than Mike Boynton has ever had over his tenure.
The past couple of years, OSU’s offense would become extremely stagnant at times because there weren’t enough guys who could create off the dribble and put pressure on the defense.
