Five Oklahoma State baseball players have the chance to pursue MLB careers next season.
Jonathan Heasley, Carson Teel, Matt Kroon, Reza Aleaziz and Jon Littell were selected in the 2018 MLB Draft.
Heasley was the first Cowboy drafted. The Kansas City Royals picked Heasley, a sophomore right-handed pitcher, in the 13th round. Heasley threw 79 strikeouts and posted a 5.96 ERA this season.
The Washington Nationals selected Teel, a junior left-handed pitcher, in the 16th round. Teel, from Stillwater, tallied 91 strikeouts and had a 4.34 ERA in 2018.
The Philadelphia Phillies drafted Kroon in the 18th round.
