Some of the best ideas come late at night, and for Christopher Hunt, that’s exactly what happened.
Hunt woke up about 3 a.m. one morning after legendary Oklahoma State University basketball coach Eddie Sutton was again left out of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
“That didn’t sit too well with me,” Hunt said. “And I had this idea to do this film on Coach Sutton.”
Hunt, an OSU alumnus, works for 1577 Productions in Oklahoma City and has been involved documentary filmmaking for the past five years. He said he had wanted to do a sports documentary for quite some time before the idea of a film about Sutton came to him.
