A 10-8 defeat to the No. 5 team in the country is usually nothing for a team to hang its head from.
But for the Oklahoma State equestrian team, expectations are different.
For coach Larry Sanchez, he feels the defeat could end up benefiting his team in the long run.
“I definitely feel that way (about the loss),” Sanchez said. “I think the girls didn’t perform to their full potential, and after the meet we realized that fact. The girls had a little more vigor this week in practice.”
