Elliott shines in victory against Harvard

Although the Oklahoma State baseball team was not competing at their home stadium, Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark was engulfed with the Cowboy faithful.

OSU defeated Harvard 2-0 in the first round of the Oklahoma City regional on Friday.

Coach Josh Holliday gave the start on the mound to senior Jensen Elliot, his most consistent pitcher.

After Elliott gave up a lead-off single, the Crimson only accumulated two more hits the rest of the game.

Elliott added four strikeouts in his 10th victory this season.

In the bottom of the first, the Cowboys took the lead after junior Andrew Navigato grounded out to the shortstop and Christian Funk scored.
