The Oklahoma State track and field team will be all over the nation this weekend.
Coach Dave Smith sends some of his best to compete at Seattle, New Mexico and Arkansas. As for NCAA Champion Kaela Edwards, she will be the only Cowgirl headed to New York for the historic Millrose Games. It will be the team’s first time competing since the Razorback Invitational. Smith said sending his athletes all over the country allows them to be a part of the competition that’s best for them individually.
“If you’re a jumper, the best place to be is at altitude because the air’s a little thinner and you can jump a little farther,” Smith said.
