Doug Gottlieb will have fallback with Fox Sports job

Although sportscaster Doug Gottlieb will receive an interview this week as a possible replacement for departed basketball coach Brad Underwood, he will have a handsome fallback if he doesn't get the job.

Gottlieb, 41, a former OSU point guard, will join Fox Sports Radio and FS1. It will be his third national network job after working for ESPN and CBS. His final show on CBS Sports Radio will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on April 14.

“Doug Gottlieb has been a trusted and sought-after voice on CBS Sports Radio since our 2013 launch, and we wish him nothing but the very best in all his future pursuits,” Eric Spitz, director of programming for CBS Radio, said in a news release Monday.
