Oklahoma State found a way to squeak by Minnesota despite a tough week of back-to-back home losses and an off court distraction.
Oklahoma State was down by 28-30 at the end of the first half, but opened the second half with a 9-0 run. After the 9-0 run, the Cowboys led the Gophers 50-43 before the Gophers cut the lead to 53-49 with less than five minutes left in the game.
Jeffrey Carroll's performance of 12 points and a last second free throw helped the Cowboys pull off the win against Minnesota. Freshman Jawun Evans had a career night with eight points and recorded a season high eight assists.
