The Oklahoma State softball team may have lost to Oklahoma 3-2 on Friday, but the senior class has been laying the foundation all season long for wins in the future.
On Senior Day at Cowgirl Stadium, OSU (36-18 overall, 12-5 Big 12) came up one run short from sending its seniors out victorious in their last game at home. Game two of the three-game Bedlam series was a defensive struggle from start to finish, with multiple sharp plays from both sides.
Sydney Pennington, who plays shortstop for the Cowgirls, drove in both runs for OSU on two-RBI singles in the first and third innings.
