Despite doubles setback, Cowgirls handle Wyoming

Although the Oklahoma State women's tennis team mostly dominated its latest match, it had an unexpected loss from the top doubles team.

The Cowgirls defeated Wyoming 4-0 on Monday night at Michael and Anne Greenwood Tennis Center.

The Cowgirls found themselves in doubles matches that were much more competitive than when they played Abilene Christian and Oral Roberts this past weekend.

The Cowgirls’ No. 1 doubles team consisting of senior Vladica Babic and junior Sofia Blanco fell to Wyoming’s Magdalena Stencel and Milka Genkova. With the match tied at 6, it went into a back-and-forth tiebreaker, where OSU ultimately lost 9-7.
