When Bill Clay was hired in February as a defensive analyst, many wondered what his job would entail and how involved he'd be in Oklahoma State's defense.
As he describes in an interview with The Oklahoman, Clay, who was an assistant coach for 47 years, will primarily be tasked with thoroughly breaking down the opposing team's defense.
"I can pretty much break a team down and give you some insight into what to expect," the veteran 73-year-old coach said.
