In nothing short of a cruel twist of fate, Oklahoma State graduate transfer Daxx Garman appears to be entering the season ranked third on Maryland’s quarterback depth chart.
Per John Taylor of NBC Sports’ College Football Talk, Maryland released a depth chart yesterday, well ahead of the team’s September 5 season opener against Richmond. Junior Perry Hills was listed as the starter, followed by Caleb Rowe and then Garman, who is in his final season of eligibility.
That said, barring a major change, it’s looking like a rough end of the road for Garman. He started his college career at Arizona, then transferred to Oklahoma State.
