Oklahoma State wrestler Daton Fix received a one-year suspension for use of ostarine, USADA announced Tuesday.
Fix, who took an Olympic redshirt last season at OSU, tested positive for ostarine on Jan. 22 as part of an out-of-competition drug test, according to USADA’s release. Ostarine is a nonspecific substance in the class of anabolic agents and is prohibited under the World Anti-Doping Code and the World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List, according to the release.
The panel that reviewed Fix’s case found that he ingested the substance from a water bottle that contained a supplement mixture as well as the ostarine that Fix’s father prepared for himself but left in the family refrigerator.
