Jimmy Johnson is headed to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and you got the news when he got the news – at halftime of the Packers-Seahawks game, as part of Fox’s live halftime show.
Johnson turned quite emotional as David Baker, chief executive officer of the Hall of Fame, appeared on the set to deliver the news. Johnson immediately knew what was happening, because Baker had done the same Saturday night to Bill Cowher as part of CBS’ pregame show.
Johnson is a worthy addition to the Canton, Ohio, hall – coach two Super Bowl champions, you have the resume’ for inclusion.
