After spending all season (so far) on the NFL’s Injured Reserve list, the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday opened the 21-day practice window for former OSU star James Washington, paving the way for him to finally step onto the field for the now-contending Cowboys.
Washington broke his foot in Oxnard during Dallas’ preseason training camp and has been on the mend ever since. He underwent a procedure to correct the issue, but has missed months rehabbing.
Timing couldn’t be better for Washington to finally return, though. Dallas is 8-3 on the season and second in the NFC East behind only Philadelphia as it gears up for a potential playoff push.
