With the 2018 signing day in the books, The Athletic took another look at the 2014 recruiting class – and OSU’s looks a lot better.
17. Oklahoma State
Adjusted average: 2.63Hit rate: 59%
Class rank in 2014: 27th
Four-year record: 37-15
Top signees: QB Mason Rudolph, WR James Washington, WR Tyreek Hill, DE Cole Walterscheid, DB Ramon Richards
Rudolph and Washington leave as two of Oklahoma State’s all-time greats. It’s difficult to know how to evaluate Hill here. The future Pro Bowler goes in the “miss” category here because of his arrest and dismissal, but his single-season performance in 2014 still made him one of the Cowboys’ most impactful signees.
