Cyclones beat Cowgirls with hot 3-point shooting

When the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team faced Iowa State on Wednesday, it found itself in an early hole.

The Cowgirls could not recover, losing to the Cyclones 74-63.

OSU (12-10 overall, 3-7 Big 12) was never in control. After taking the lead in the opening minute, the Cowgirls lost it after 16 seconds. They would find themselves behind the rest of the way.

Vivian Gray and Natasha Mack scored 40 of the Cowgirls points, but shot 15-of-42 (good for 35.7%). Gray played every second, while Mack played 36 minutes.
