This season, Oklahoma State will lean heavily on a backcourt of former MAC Freshman of the Year Michael Weathers Jr., graduate transfer Mike Cunningham, and returning guards Lindy Waters and Thomas Dziagwa. These four, with incoming freshman Isaac Likelele, will compete for major minutes at the guard spots and should give the Cowboys good depth and a variety of options as they look to replace Kendall Smith, Brandon Averette, and Tavarius Shine from last year’s squad.
However, there’s one more guard who has been in Stillwater since last year, set to be available as an interesting option starting in January around Big 12 play.
