Kyle Crutchmer found a new game to play.
Crutchmer, who wrestled at Oklahoma State from 2012-17, is pursuing a mixed martial arts career in San Jose, California. He could add to the likes of former UFC champions Daniel Cormier, Randy Couture and Johny Hendricks, who laid their fighting career foundations in the Cowboys’ wrestling room before succeeding in MMA.
“I just wasn’t done competing,” Crutchmer said. “I felt like my love for the sport of wrestling wasn’t fully there, and I just wanted to try something new. My whole life I’ve played different sports, and I’ve always tried new things.
