On a beautiful night at Neal Patterson Stadium, the Oklahoma State women’s soccer team (2-0) defeated the Iowa State Cyclones (0-2) by a score of 2-1.
The first 45 minutes of the game contained lots of defense and no scoring. OSU outshot ISU 7-3 in the first half but there were only five shots on goal combined.
The intensity and physicality in the first half were high. There were 15 first-half fouls, seven on the Cyclones and 8 on the Cowgirls.
The offense quickly heated up in the second half.
