On the left baseline, sophomore Braxtin Miller flung up a tough leaning shot through the outstretched arms of two Kansas State defenders as the first half clock expired.
The ball bounced around the rim a few times before dropping through as the buzzer sounded, giving the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team its biggest lead of the game.
But it was a tale of two halves for the Cowgirls. After the break, OSU unraveled against Kansas State, falling to the Wildcats 68-58 Monday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
The Cowgirls started strong on both sides of the ball, displaying aggressive drives and outstanding ball movement on offense while limiting Kansas State to only 24 percent shooting.
