The Cowgirls started out strong and kept up their momentum as they blew the competition away. Amy White, Maggie Drysch and Jordan Davis all defeated their opponents in equitation on the flat to start of the competition with a 3-1 victory.
Top rider Katy Krshka rode against Chantz Stewart and won 138-135 in reining. OSU teammates Ebba Lange and Justine Peters also defeated their opponents to bring the over all score to 6-2.
With two events recorded, the Cowgirls were not slowing down.
