The Oklahoma State women’s cross-country team booked its ticket to Madison, Wisconsin, for the NCAA Championships after placing second at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships on Friday in Peoria, Illinois.
The Cowboys will have to wait until Saturday to find out if their season will continue. The OSU men’s team came in fourth place in the 10K behind Iowa State, Bradley and Tulsa.
Unofficially, the Cowboys are predicted to advance with one of the 13 at-large bids.
Isai Rodriguez led the Cowboys with a runner-up finish. Ashenafi Hatte was 21 seconds behind, finishing fifth overall. Luis Martinez scored next for the Cowboys, placing 14th.
